Shower heads will start to clog with hard water deposits over time. How quickly depends on how hard the water is where you live. In most case, you can easily remove
the hard-water and mineral deposits that build up in a shower head using vinegar in a plastic bag:
Pour white distilled vinegar into a A Gallon Zip Lock plastic bag with your shower head. maker
and
Soak the shower head for at least 24 hours.
Remove and discard the vinegar.
Remove the loosened deposits with a soft brush. An old toothbrush works well
Clean the spray orifices in the
shower head with a fine needle.
Run hot water through the shower head for several minutes.
Cleaning a Shower head with vinegar will help extend the life of your shower head.
